Synopsis + History:

On this site, some limited documentation/media from the first human trials of Arx S7 , otherwise referred to as 'sevens' colloquially, or as Device 9007 on research documents, has been acquired and compiled: according the the dates on the files, human trials began in 2026, but the project itself and the engineering process may have started as early as 2019, despite the co-funded collaboration between Ortex Medical and the government not being announced until September 2025.

In the year 2025, the governments of the world had not met the UN Climate Promise to keep the warming of the climate under 1.5 degrees Celsius, and protests around the world pushed for drastic measures to be taken, particularly in the United States, which saw violent reactions from the militarized police force. After a month of civil unrest, martial law was imposed. Another month later, the United States government announced that in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the immediate ban of personal cars would take place, with the eventual phasing out of public transport following. Additionally, they announced their co-funded collaboration with the biomedical company Ortex Medical, which would find a way for personal transportation to become self-sufficient and “zero-carbon”. The research from the project led to the creation of Device 9007, which, at this time, is now commercially and medically available.
